Lindsey Question: Misspelled Tag?

Someone yesterday asked a question about PM dolls having body tags, and one of the responses said that the fake AG dolls tend to have misspelled tags. I checked my Lindsey's tag, and it has American Girl misspelled "American Gril." But I know she's really a Lindsey because I bought her directly from the company when I was in high school. Does anyone else have a Lindsey or other authentic AG with her tag misspelled?

Lindseys are known for having misspelled body tags. From what I know, all Lindsey body tags say "American Gril". Mine and my mom's both have it misspelled too.

My Lindsey's tag is spelled correctly and I know she's authentic because she just came home from the hospital with a new head and her original body. I agree with Janine, though. It's very common for Lindsey's to have the misspelled tag.

Mine also has an "American Gril" tag, but she is authentic, my mom bought her directly from the catalogue when she was available.

Both of my Lindseys, plus another that I bought and resold on eBay all have the misspelled tag.

Both of my Lindseys have the tag spelled correctly so I think they can have it spelled correctly or incorrectly.

I have 3 Lindsey, two of them have the tag spelled correctly and the 3 incorrectly but she is not a fake.

I was just going to post this! My sister's Kaya (2003) has her tag misspelled "American Gril". Is anyone else's Kaya tag misspelled.
